About Us

E.S Emojong Consultancy is a purpose-led organisation founded by Sewa Emojong — a regionally based consultant who grew up in rural NSW and has spent her career working alongside young people and communities across the regions.
We exist to strengthen the social fabric of regional Australia by acting as a connector, a conduit, and a trusted partner in designing and delivering initiatives that matter.

E.S Emojong Consultancy officially launched in 2023, driven by a deep commitment to ensuring that rural and regional people don’t miss out on opportunities simply because of where they live — or the challenges that come with it.

With firsthand insight into the realities of regional service delivery — from limited resources to workforce turnover and access barriers — we’re here to walk alongside you with practical, supportive solutions that reduce pressure and amplify impact.

Our values guide everything we do:

  • Us Against The Problem – not each other

  • Walk-With – never top-down

  • Collaboration is King – we’re better together

  • The ‘How’ Matters – relationships and process count

  • Joy in Curiosity – always learning, always listening

  • Vibrancy – energy, creativity, and life in our work

Over the past two years, we’ve delivered more than 30 projects across the New England North West — and we’re just getting started.

Why Work With Us

1. Locally Grounded, Regionally Experienced 🏡

We bring deep insight from years working directly in rural and regional NSW. We understand local contexts, politics, and people — not just from research, but from real relationships.

2. We Bridge Strategy and Delivery 🔄

From youth strategies and policy to on-the-ground workshops and consultations, we guide you from planning to implementation with hands-on support.

3. Inclusive and Culturally Safe 🌏

We prioritise cultural safety, accessibility, and diverse voices — especially for multicultural and First Nations young people. We create spaces where everyone feels respected and heard.

4. Real Language, Real Relationships 🫱🏼‍🫲🏽

We skip the jargon. Whether we’re speaking to young people, council teams, or local service providers, we make engagement easy to understand — and easy to act on.

5. Youth-Led, Not Just Youth-Informed 🎤

Young people co-create and co-deliver much of our work. We believe in the capabilities of young people, and make space for learning, sharing and empowerment.

6. Ethical, Values-Driven Practice ✊🏽

We’re in it for the long-term impact. Every project is grounded in equity, empowerment, and respectful relationships — not just box-ticking.

At E.S Emojong Consultancy, we know regional and rural communities because we live and work in them. We don’t just consult — we connect, co-create, and help organisations turn intention into action that creates real change for young people and communities.

Here’s what makes us different:

“Sewa worked with our organisation to develop a Multicultural Supported Playgroup Handbook. This was a totally bespoke project and from the minute I began communicating with Sewa, I found her to be open, enthusiastic and professional.

Sewa did a thoughtful and thorough job researching our specific subject matter and then worked gently and respectfully with our stakeholders in a range of formats to draw out the key messages. Sewa used creativity and warmth in engaging with our stakeholders and her facilitation style was sensitive and skilled. From my point of view the process was seamless and the feedback from our stakeholders was overwhelmingly positive. We are delighted with the resource that we have as a result of working with Sewa and would very happily work with her again. ”
